I wanted to include Thanks to several people who have been of great assistance with the Twister documentation and research. I know I can’t list everyone or this would take 3-5 pages. To all who have helped me and my fellow Twister owners, we appreciate everything you’ve done over the years. To the following people I owe a great debt of gratitude for all their years of assistance and friendship.

In the crazy corporate world of just making bucks, Joe turned out to be a true friend.  He is unique, as he is a car enthusiast that just happened to work for Ford. Without his help there would be very little known about the Twister’s.  Being a car lover, he kept many items associated to the special promotions.  A large majority of the items found in this site came from Joe, or someone who had worked with him.  On behalf of myself and all my fellow owners we say, “THANK YOU JOE.”

Having worked for Ford and in her retirement, Lois ran the invoice copy service that gave us the carbon copies of our window stickers.  Lois did considerable research of her invoices and provided invaluable assistance to me during the time I needed it most.  With her efforts, I have a copy of all the 1970 Twister Mustang and ARI convertible invoices. Thank you Lois !!

Many Thanks to you for working with me/us, and publishing the articles, pictures and stories about the Twister’s. Your efforts aided greatly in the search for existing cars and still do to this day.

To My Fellow Twister Owners

What a great group of people !  I consider many of you my personal friends.

I’d like to especially honor Walt Wise of Anaheim, CA, who's car is the main feature on the Twister Mustang page. We lost him a few years ago . When Walt bought his Twister, restored it and began showing it around California, the magazine and book editors beat his door down wanting to do articles about the Twister’s.  Walt was undoubtedly one of the most active owners in our group and owned the number 1 Twister in the show world.  We also owe him a great debt of gratitude for all his efforts.  Walt you a sorely missed and I cherish the years of true friendship we had.

For her indulgence and encouragement of my passion for Twister Special’s and Mustang’s in general.  She is truly my BEST FRIEND ! A man can not ask for a better woman in his life.  Thank you Debra !

For the many years of letting me “drag” you around the country to the numerous car shows and events. My love for you is undying. Thank you for your support and love over the many years.
